Easter Eggs & More

When I think of Easter, I usually think of eggs.  So, I got curious and was wondering how the “Easter egg” came about and egg hunts.  I found several articles with different information.  I thought this one was neat, because it told about Dolly Madison, and how she started the Easter egg roll.

  1. My brother did the white house easter egg roll a few years ago and they actually give every child who rolls the eggs, a painted wooden egg that has the year and a design on it. It is actually very cool and an interesting tradition. I didn’t know how it was formed until I read this article. I still think that it is the funniest thing that we use eggs and bunnies for easter since bunnies are mammals and do not lay eggs
